Broccoli Spice Poppers
Ingredients:
- Broccoli, florets- 1 cup
- Shredded cheese or Paneer -1/2 cup
- Onion - 1/2 cup
- Ginger Garlic chopped-1tbsp
- Spices-(Jeera seeds-1/4tsp,pepper/chilli /corriander-1/2 tsp)
- Red Chilli chopped-1 no
- Egg-1
- Bread crumbs, plain-1/4 cup
- Panko (Japanese bread crumbs)-1/2 cup.
Preparation:
- Add broccoli in a food processor and pulse into tiny peices. (You can also chop with a knife).
- Steam your broccoli for 2-3 minutes until tender.
- Squeeze out the excess water by pressing on the broccoli with a spatula. Transfer to a bowl.
- Add the rest of your ingredients to your bowl except for Panko, and mix.
- Scoop out tablespoon size balls of the mixture and roll in Panko. Place on a cookie sheet lined with parchment or sprayed & bake for 10-15 min,at 350 degree F or until golden crispy.( Or)
- Deep fry in oil .
- Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce.
