ChickenBeets kebabs
I always had a strange feeling when i see meat and veggies combined. But when it is done with right combination ,it works perfect!!!. And i did try one such recipe on my own. Trust me, It was a hit :). Beets are healthy and the colour is so vibrant & beautiful. You will juz fall in love with it. Do give it a try :).
Prep time :40 min
Ingredients:
- Chicken -1 breast piece cut in cubes
- Beetroot-1 Medium sized (Boiled &chopped)
- Chickpea -1cup(soaked overnight & boiled)
- Garlic- 2 cloves
- Ginger-1 inch
- Red or green chilli- 1
- Onion -1/2 onion roughly chopped
- Lemon juice -2 tbsp
- Curd - 4 tbsp(optional)
- Spices - (Turmeric-1/4tsp, Chilli /Corriander/Garam Masala- 1 tsp)
- Paneer -1 cup (optional)
- Corriander -Handfull
- Cornflour or panko crumbs or bread crumbs- 1cup
- Salt to taste
- Wooden Skewers(Soak in water for 15 min ).
Preparation:
- In a food processor, add chicken breast, beetroot, chickpea & pulse once. Now add in Ginger Garlic & chilli, chopped corriander, onion, salt, lemon juice, curd, spices, panner and pulse together & set aside.
- Note:( pulse them coarsely, so you dont end up into paste. If u did, juz add bread crumbs.)
- In a mixing bowl mix bread or panko or cornflour crumbs into the mixture and form patties or add into skewers.
- Heat a grill pan or skillet, add oil and place in the skewers. Switch sides & cook chicken beets kebab evenly.
- Lovely ChickenBeets Kebabs are ready.
- Serve them hot with dippings of your choice.
