Salmon fish fingers

                                  Salmon Fish Fingers

Prep Time:15 min

Ingredients:

  • 50g Panko breadcrumbs(Japanese)
  • 2tbsp All Purpose Flour or Maida
  • Spice(Chilli/Pepper Powder-Each 1 tsp)
  • Seasoning(Herbs of your choice)
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 450g skinned salmon fillet, cut into chunky fingers.
  • Salt to taste

Preparation:

  • In a shallow bowl, season the flour with a little salt and freshly ground black pepper and chilli powder & place the beaten egg in a separate shallow dish.
  • Dip the fish fingers into the flour, then the egg and finally into the Panko breadcrumbs(Japanese) mixture, patting it on well. Arrange the fingers in a single layer on a plate or on a non-stick baking sheet if you wish to oven bake them. 
  • Bake in the oven for about 7 minutes then flip the fingers over with a fish slice. Continue to cook for a further 5 minutes or until the fish fingers are golden brown and just cooked through. (Or) simply deep fry them in hot oil .
  • Serve them hot with mash potatoes (or) with ketchup of your choice.
